Filmhamburg ist ein Studio für Creative Direction, Filmproduktion und generative AI im Herzen Hamburgs.
Wir entwickeln visuelle Konzepte und produzieren Filme und Social-Media-Content für Brands und Agenturen – klassisch gedreht, AI-generiert oder als hybride Kombination aus beidem.
Von der ersten Idee und Art Direction über DoP und Direction bis zu Edit, Postproduktion und generativer AI entsteht so alles aus einer visuellen Handschrift.

Filmhamburg is a creative studio for Creative Direction, Film Production and Generative AI, based in the heart of Hamburg.
We develop visual concepts and create films and social media content for brands and agencies — shot traditionally, AI-generated, or as a hybrid of both. From initial concept and Art Direction to DoP, Direction, Editing, Post-Production and Generative AI, everything comes together under one consistent visual vision.

02 / FilmhamburgMarten Mochel arbeitet seit 2004 als freier Art Director für unterschiedlichste Projekte und Kunden, darunter Panasonic, Bentley, Deichmann, Swarovski und Lufthansa.
Mehr als 20 Jahre Erfahrung in Art Direction, visueller Konzeption und Markenkommunikation bilden heute die kreative Basis von Filmhamburg.
Aus der Leidenschaft für bewegte Bilder entstand 2017 Filmhamburg und damit die Verbindung von Art Direction und Filmproduktion. Heute kommt mit generativer AI eine dritte Disziplin hinzu.
Diese Kombination ermöglicht es, Projekte nicht nur technisch umzusetzen, sondern bereits bei Idee, Look, Bildsprache und visueller Dramaturgie anzusetzen – unabhängig davon, ob das finale Bild mit einer Kamera, generativer AI oder aus beiden Welten entsteht.

The Person Behind Filmhamburg.
Marten Mochel has been working as a freelance Art Director since 2004, across a wide range of projects and for clients including Panasonic, Bentley, Deichmann, Swarovski and Lufthansa. More than 20 years of experience in Art Direction, visual concept development and brand communication form the creative foundation of FilmHamburg today. Driven by a passion for moving images, Marten founded FilmHamburg in 2017, bringing together Art Direction and Film Production. Today, Generative AI adds a third discipline.
This combination allows projects to be approached not just from a technical perspective, but from the very beginning — shaping the idea, look, visual language and storytelling, whether the final images are captured on camera, generated with AI, or created through a combination of both.

Generative AI erweitert die Möglichkeiten klassischer Filmproduktion. Wir entwickeln vollständig AI-generierte Filme und Bilder und verbinden reale Aufnahmen mit generativen Technologien zu hybriden Produktionen.
Ein reales Model, ein Produkt oder eine Performance kann dabei zum Ausgangspunkt neuer Bildwelten werden: Wir erweitern Locations, gestalten virtuelle Umgebungen und schaffen Kamerafahrten oder Szenen, die beim klassischen Dreh nur mit großem Aufwand realisierbar wären. Der charakteristische Look des ursprünglichen Shootings bleibt erhalten.
Von AI Film und AI Image über Real-to-AI bis zur generativen Postproduktion steht für uns die Bildsprache im Mittelpunkt: glaubwürdig, visuell stimmig und passend zur Marke und zur Idee.

Generative AI expands the possibilities of traditional filmmaking. We develop fully AI-generated films and images and combine live-action footage with generative technologies to create hybrid productions.
A real model, product or performance can become the starting point for new visual worlds. We extend locations, create virtual environments and develop camera movements or scenes that would require considerable effort on a traditional shoot, while preserving the distinctive look of the original footage.
From AI Film and AI Image to Real-to-AI and Generative Post-Production, our focus is on a credible, consistent visual language that fits the brand and the idea.
